On the Feast of St. John the Theologian (Sept. 26) at St. Tikhon's Seminary our Subdeacon Kevin Meyers, parishioner and one-timeyouthdirector of St. Andrew Church, was ordained to the Holy Diaconate by our Bishop, His Grace JOSEPH, during an episcopal visit to the seminary in South Canaan, PA. Deacon Nicolai was named after the contemporary Saint Nicolai of Zica, author of the Prologue and laborer in the vineyard of America. Bishop JOSEPH ordained Deacon Nicolai before the holy table that St. Nicolai himself served at in the middle of the 20th century. AXIOS! HE IS WORTHY! MOUSTAHIQ!
